Message from the Principal.

davidjp1 I have been Principal here in Ballinteer Community School since December 2010. I am proud of the work we do here in BCS: we have a wonderful, dedicated staff and our students are fine teenagers. The atmosphere in the school is positive, and our students work hard for their respective exams but they also have a good sense of fun along with well-developed moral values.
The school has a fine tradition of serving the community in Ballinteer and our past pupils do us proud. Many of them return to us to meet with our current students and to share their expertise and life experiences with them.

As I look to the future, I expect that the school will continue to be an energetic, vibrant place where everybody is free to develop into a unique individual. Exam success is important to us, and we recognise that success comes to different people in different ways. We miss our students when they leave, but we can be confident that they are well-equipped to lead fulfilling and successful lives in whatever career they choose to go into, and that we have given them a holistic education that will benefit them in every area of their lives.
